Grand Canyon weather: unpredictably dangerously beautiful

Weather in the Canyon backcountry puts you in the middle of divine forces. You can run, but you can’t hide. The deep reverberating echos of thunder off the canyon walls reminds you that you’re a miniscule ant caught in the middle of a contest between the Gods as they hurl bolts at each other that are hotter than the surface of the sun. You’re the pin ball dodging rain, hail and rockfall. When the adrenaline subsides your eyes begin to see a gift. Unbelievably stunning light in hues rarely seen. You can only hope you’re prepared for the shot, otherwise nobody will believe the magic before you.
