Grand Canyon is perhaps the World’s preeminent place for reflected light. Each strata has its own hue, and we all know that Grand Canyon has a lot of exposed strata. Canyon junctions create major corner reflections. Erosional forces create sinuous cuts in rock exposing infinite angular possibilities around each bend. Just as sound echos and mixes, light does too. Predicting how this light plays is nearly impossible. You just have to be there to see it, bask in it, and watch it change with the motion of the sun. Those with patience can get ungodly rewards that can overload the brain from what the eyes see. While each gallery contains new some new images, these are some of my favorites where powerful, and sometimes subtle light play light causes my neurons to metaphorically explode.
